He has a proven track record as an educator over the past twenty years, has been awarded the Merchant Navy Medal for his services to maritime education, and has been instrumental in educating hundreds of cadets and students in this time.
In addition to being an STCW-qualified Mariner and a Lancaster University-trained professional educator, he holds a Masters Degree in Maritime Studies, is an OCR Level 3 Assessor, is an RYA shore-based instructor, and an IRCA ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
